Best of December 2020-21: Sérgio Oliveira and Crespo are the highlights of the month

Sérgio Oliveira was the MVP of the Liga NOS in December The Portuguese midfielder was key during the 100% winning journey of the Dragons during the last month of 2020, adding to his record a goal against CD Nacional, where he was also name the "Liga NOS Man of the Match". The top scorer of the Blues thus earned the award for Best Player and Best Midfielder of the Month in the competition.

Also, in the Liga Portugal SABSEG, the midfielder Crespo, from Estoril Praia, received the recognition of the head managers of the competition by being named the Best Player of the Month. The 24-year-old midfielder is the engine of the competition leaders and racked up the most votes in this month.

Estoril Praia's good campaign also earned Bruno Pinheiro, their coach, the Vítor Oliveira Award - Best Manager of the Month in the Liga Portugal SABSEG. In the Liga NOS, this distinction was given to Sérgio Conceição, who led FC Porto to an impressive winning streak during this period.

The Blues' campaign also earned Mehdi Taremi the Best Forward of the Month award. The striker was directly involved in four goals throughout the three games held in December. Also, the players from the defensive sector of leaders Sporting CP clearly stood out, after Pedro Porro and Adán receiving the awards for Best Defender and Best Goalkeeper of the Month, respectively.

Last but not least, the fans' favourite goals of the month were scored by Iuri Medeiros (Boavista FC - SC Braga) in Liga NOS, and by Kiki (FC Vizela - Varzim SC) at Liga Portugal SABSEG.
