Ricardo Batista named Goalkeeper of the Year in Liga Portugal SABSEG

Casa Pia AC's keeper was the choice of the competition's head coaches and team captains

The Best Goalkeeper of the Year 2021-22 of Liga Portugal SABSEG is Ricardo Batista, from Casa Pia AC.

At the age of 35, the goalkeeper was essential in the Geese's path back to the top tier of Portuguese football, having been a starter in 32 of the 34 matches played in the competition, having added 16 matches without being conceding goals and making a total of 88 saves.

Having conceded only 21 goals in the whole competition, the Angolan also won the Man of the Match award from Liga Portugal SABSEG once.
