Best of February: Vasco Fernandes named Defender of the Month in Liga Portugal SABSEG

The centre-back racked up 28% of the votes from the head managers of the competition

Vasco Fernandes, Casa Pia AC's centre-back, was named Best Defender of February in Liga Portugal SABSEG by the head managers of the competition, after getting a total of 28% of the votes.

The Portuguese centre-back has been pivotal in the whole defensive operation of Casa Pia AC, thus playing a key role in all the matches held in February. In addition to his consistent performances, Vasco Fernandes also scored a decisive goal against CD Nacional during this period.

Alexsandro, from GD Chaves, came in second place after getting 11% of the votes, while Gui Ferreira (CD Mafra) finished third with 9%.
