Best of January: João Teixeira wins Best Midfielder of the Month in Liga Portugal SABSEG

The GD Chaves player wins his second consecutive award, this time getting 27,78% of the votes from the head managers of the competition

The managers of the Liga Portugal SABSEG have decided and João Teixeira (GD Chaves) was named Best Midfielder of January in the competition.

The midfielder of the Northern team racked up 27,78% of the votes, thus surpassing Diogo Pinto (Estrela da Amadora) with 22,84% and Guga (Rio Ave FC),  who got 6,795 of the votes.

28-year-old João Teixeira has provided the team with goals and assists, proving to be a true driving force in the midfield sector and making a great contribution in GD Chaves' unbeaten streak during this period.
