Liga Portugal SABSEG is a competition aimed at promoting young players, so it was no easy task to name the Liga Portugal SABSEG Young Player of the Year.

The award was given to Henrique Araújo, SL Benfica B striker, and his good performance earned him a call to the Eagles' main squad and to the top tier of Portuguese Football.

At only 20 years of age, Henrique Araújo was the third-best goalscorer in the competition, with 14 goals in 26 games.
