Gonçalo Franco joins the Liga Portugal SABSEG Team of the Year

At 22 years of age, the youngster played a pivotal role in his team's campaign to the title

Yet another Moreira de Cónegos face joins the Team of the Year of the Liga Portugal SABSEG. Gonçalo Franco, Moreirense FC's midfielder, is one of the chosen ones by the head coaches and team captains of the competition.

Always a starter in 30 matches, he was one of the stand-out players in the team's conquest of the championship, which sealed their return to the top-tier level of Portuguese football.

Born in the city of Porto, he scored three goals, and made one assist and 94 ball recoveries, playing a total of 2452 minutes.
