Pepe wins Defender of the Month in Liga Portugal bwin

The Portuguese centre-back got 16,67% of the votes

Pepe, centre-back and captain of FC Porto, won the Defender of the Month award in Liga Portugal bwin. In this vote for the month of April, the Portuguese international player got 16.67% of the votes from the competition's head coaches.

Pepe beat the competition of Quaresma, from FC Arouca, who got 15.87%, and Niakaté, from SC Braga, who completed the podium with 15.08%.

During the month of April, the experienced Portuguese defender started every match and was one of the key players  for the Dragons' 100% winning record in the four matches played in the Liga Portugal bwin.
