Best of August: Gonçalo Franco named Midfielder of the Month in Liga Portugal SABSEG

The young Moreirense FC player racked up 12,35% of the votes from the head managers of the competition

Moreirense FC midfielder Gonçalo Franco has won the first Liga Portugal SABSEG Midfielder of the Month award of the 2022-23 season. For the month of August, the Portuguese midfielder received 12.35% of the votes from the competition's head coaches.

Completing the podium are his teammate Pedro Aparício with 11.11%, and Ben, from Leixões SC, who got 8.64% of the votes.

It is important to mention that, during the period in question, the 21-year-old midfielder scored a superb goal in the duel against BSAD and was a true mainstay in the midfield throughout the four victories that mark an unbeaten record for Moreirense FC.
