Wendel's powerful strike wins Goal of the Month

A moment of inspiration by the FC Porto B player was the fans' favourite

The Goal of the Month for February in Liga Portugal SABSEG has been chose. A powerful strike by Wendel, after a superb individual effort, took place in Matchweek 22 and received the majority of the votes from the fans.

In the visit of FC Porto B to Vilafranquense, a game in which António Folha's team won by two goals to one, the 22 year old forward scored the first goal of the match. That way, he opened the way to the blue and white triumph, in what turned out to be winner of this month's award.

Wendel's great effort overcame the competition of Aponza (SC Covilhã), Ricardo Valente (Leixões SC), André Clóvis (Ac. Viseu), Kazu (UD Oliveirense) and Anthony Carter (UD Oliveirense).
