The SL Benfica keeper got 22,22% of the votes

Odysseas has won the September Liga Portugal bwin EuroBic Goalkeeper of the Month award. The SL Benfica goalkeeper got 22.22% of the votes from the competition's head coaches.

The Greek goalkeeper beat the competition from Diogo Costa, from FC Porto, with 20.63% of the votes, and also Ricardo Batista, from Casa Pia AC, who won the previous month and racked up 16.67% of the votes.

The Reds' goalkeeper was a starting player in the period under evaluation for this award, with three victories in as many games played, having only conceded one goal, against FC Vizela, in matchday five of the competition.
