António Silva wins Defender of the Month for October/November

The SL Benfica center-back got the same number of votes as Otávio, from FC Famalicão, but has prevailed for having the least number of playing time

With 14.29 per cent of the votes from the competition's head managers, SL Benfica's António Silva is the winner of the Liga Portugal Betclic Defender of the Month award for October and November.

In the period in question, the 20-year-old defender took part in SL Benfica's four matches in the Liga Portugal Betclic, against Estoril Praia, Casa Pia AC, GD Chaves and Sporting CP, scoring one goal.

Otávio, from FC Famalicão, got the same number of votes as António Silva, but came second since he had two more minutes played (397') than the SL Benfica player. Marcelo, from Moreirense FC, rounded off the podium with 13.49 per cent of the votes.
