Luiz Júnior wins the EuroBic award for Goalkeeper of the Month in Liga Portugal Betclic

The FC Famalicão keeper racked up 23,81% of the votes from head managers of the competition to win the October/November accolade

Luiz Júnior, FC Famalicão's keeper, won the EuroBic Goalkeeper of the Month award in the Liga Portugal Betclic for October/November, repeating the trophy he won in September.

The 22-year-old goalkeeper from the Famalicenses won 23.81% of the votes from the competition's head coaches, beating off competition from Diogo Costa (FC Porto), with 20.63%, and Kewin Silva (Moreirense FC), who got 19.05% of the votes.

It should be noted that during the period in question, Luiz Júnior was FC Famalicão's first-choice goalkeeper in all four matches in the competition, showing security between the posts and making a decisive contribution to the stability of João Pedro Sousa's defence.
