Matchweek 28 of Liga NOS kicked off at Estádio Cidade de Barcelos, where Rúben Ribeiro contributed with his first goal of the season to help Gil Vicente FC defeat CD Aves.

At the Derby of Invicta, Marega was crucial for the FC Porto triumph over Boavista FC by scoring a double.

Who also scored twice on a match was Douglas Tanque, who paved the way for FC Paços de Ferreira's victory by scoring the first two goals of the game.

Another week, another great display from the Brazilian midfielder, who has been standing out since the return of Liga NOS. As it it inherent to a midfielder, Lucas Fernandes conducted the entire midfield, having racked up several attacking plays and ball retrievals.

Vitória FC vs Rio Ave FC - Carlos Mané (Rio Ave FC)

The path to triumph arose through the right flank of Rio Ave FC. Carlos Mané had a very predominant role in the flanks by conducting the team to the attacking sector, where he would eventually assist Gelson Dala to score the winner for Rio Ave FC.

SL Benfica vs Santa Clara - Fábio Cardoso (Santa Clara)

Santa Clara's defense was about to face the best attacking force in Liga NOS, therefore, their mission was even more challenging. However, Fábio Cardoso was determined to create some troubles for SL Benfica and keep his team's hopes of triumphing alive, something that eventually would come true.

FC Porto vs Boavista FC - Marega (FC Porto)

FC Porto enter the field during the Derby of Invicta on a mission to achieve a three-point lead in Liga NOS, but failed to score in the first half. However, Marega returned to the field with a lust for goal and put the Blues in front. Later, he would score the last goal of the evening. A match where the forward was a constant threat to the opposing net thanks to his 15 attacking plays made throughout the whole game.

CD Tondela vs FC Paços de Ferreira - Douglas Tanque (FC Paços de Ferreira)

The striker was on fire and paved the way for the triumph. Douglas Tanque scored the first two goals of the match, where his second goal was particularly special after inflicting a powerful shot right into the net.

Moreirense FC vs FC Famalicão - Mateus Pasinato (Moreirense FC)

If FC Famalicão were only able to score one goal against Moreirense FC, much was due to the inspiration of Mateus Pasinato. The keepers that hold the record of most saves made in this Liga NOS season, stood out once again to secure one point for his team.

SC Braga vs Vitória SC - Trincão (SC Braga)

At the Derby of Minho, right before half-time when SC Braga were losing 2-1, Trincão displayed the highlight of the match. Ricardo Esgaio passed to Ricardo Horta, the winger assisted to Trincão, and through a curve ball from outside the box, the young star was able to equalise the game. In addition to the goal, he was also very active in the attack, where he added nine attacking plays to his record.

Belenenses vs Sporting CP - Wendel (Sporting CP)

Sporting CP are keeping their good form where, this time, Wendel was the main conductor of the Lions. Always very assertive, the Brazilian added quality to Sporting's set-plays and he was an essential asset in the team's pressure tactics by racking up several ball retrievals.
