FC Porto are the new Champions of the Liga Portugal bwin

Liga Portugal congratulates the winners of the competition. The trophy ceremony is scheduled for the last matchday (FC Porto vs Estoril Praia)

FC Porto won the Liga Portugal bwin, for the 2021-2022 season, after beating SL Benfica at the Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica by 0-1.

Going into the 33rd and penultimate matchday of the competition, the Dragons only needed to win or draw, as they had a six-point advantage over second-placed Sporting CP, so Sérgio Conceição's side would only be denied the title if they lost both games and saw the Alvalade team win their respective matches.

It should be mentioned that the champion's trophy ceremony will take place on the last matchday of the Liga Portugal bwin, after the duel between FC Porto and Estoril Praia.

Liga Portugal congratulates FC Porto, their players, coaching team, staff and directors, for winning the 30th title of this competition, in a season that was marked by the Dragons' historic streak of 58 games without losing, thus setting a new record in the Liga Portugal bwin.
