In office since 2015, Pedro Proença has been re-elected as President of Liga Portugal for a third consecutive term

Pedro Proença was re-elected, this Thursday, June 1, as President of Liga Portugal for the four-year term of 2023-2027, at the Electoral General Assembly held this Thursday afternoon at its headquarters in Porto.

As sole candidate, Pedro Proença, 52 years of age, was first elected on July 28, 2015, and was reappointed on June 12, 2019. He now becomes the first President of Liga Portugal to be elected for three consecutive terms.

The representatives of the Clubs also re-elected Mário Costa as President of the Board of the General Assembly, Carlos Branco as leader of the Audit Committee and Américo Esteves as President of the Judicial Coucil.

The Governing Bodies of Liga Portugal take office next Tuesday, June 6, in Porto, in a ceremony scheduled for 6 pm.
