Zalazar named VITO Midfielder of the Month in Liga Portugal Betclic

The Uruguayan player of SC Braga got 18,52% of the votes from the head managers of the competition

Rodrigo Zalazar has been pivotal in SC Braga's 2023-24 campaign. In January that was no exception, having been voted by the competition's head coaches as VITO Midfielder of the Month in Liga Portugal Betclic, with 18.52% of the votes.

In the period under review, the 24-year-old midfielder from Braga totalled 285 minutes of use in the four matches played by the Minho Warriors in the competition, in which he added a goal and an assist, making him a key player in the midfield of the team led by Artur Jorge.

Rodrigo Zalazar was awarded for the first time this season, while Pedro Gonçalves (Sporting CP) came second in this (close) election, with 17.04% of the votes, while João Neves (SL Benfica) completed the podium with 15.56% of the votes.
