Sporting CP secured the first spot in the Allianz CUP final by defeating FC Porto 1-0 on Tuesday at the Estádio Municipal de Leiria – Dr. Magalhães Pessoa.

With 20,007 fans in attendance (95% stadium occupancy), Swedish forward Gyökeres netted the decisive goal in the 56th minute. He struck from the heart of the area after receiving a precise pass from Geovany Quenda.
