SC Farense took the lead, but SL Benfica turned the game round

At the Estádio do Algarve, SL Benfica came from behind to secure a 2-1 victory over SC Farense in Matchday 10 of Liga Portugal Betclic.

SC Farense took the lead through Dário, who capitalised on a lapse in Benfica's defence to make it 1-0.

Just six minutes later, Álvaro Carreras received a pass from Aktürkoglu and struck with his left foot to level the score, ending the first half at 1-1.

In the second half, Benfica increased the pressure, and Pavlidis, assisted once again by the No. 17, completed the comeback, sealing three points for Bruno Lage's team.

SL Benfica now sits on 22 points, eight points behind leaders Sporting CP (with one extra game played) and two behind FC Porto, whom they face next week. SC Farense remains at the bottom with four points.
