Over 18,000 fans at Estádio D. Afonso Henriques witnessed Vitória SC break a run of three consecutive draws, securing a 1-0 victory over local rivals Moreirense FC in the Liga Portugal Betclic.

It was a tightly contested game with chances on both sides, and the deadlock was only broken in the second half. In the 64th minute, a free kick for Rui Borges' side was sent into the area, with the Moreirense defense failing to clear. Nélson Oliveira regained possession and fired a powerful left-footed shot into the back of the net.

With this win, Vitória SC now has 18 points, sitting in sixth place and widening the gap from Moreirense, who remain in eighth with 14 points.
