Estrela Amadora returned to winning ways this Sunday, defeating CD Nacional 2-0. Paulo Moreira and Kikas scored the goals that decided the match for matchday 11 of Liga Portugal Betclic.

The tricolours clinched victory in the second half, even after Jovane Cabral missed a penalty, hitting the crossbar of Lucas França's goal in the 57th minute.

However, in the 78th minute, José Faria’s team broke the deadlock as Paulo Moreira, shortly after coming on, connected with a right-side cross from Danilo, heading the ball into the net. The confirmation came shortly after, with Kikas finishing off a swift counterattack.

With this win, Estrela Amadora ends a three-match winless run, reaching nine points in the standings, while CD Nacional remains on eight points with one game in hand.
