Sporting CP comeback and beat SC Braga 4-2

In front of 20,585 spectators, Sporting CP showcased their resilience and maintained their unbeaten run in Liga Portugal Betclic, winning 4-2 against SC Braga in matchday 11.
However, it was the home side that started better. In the 20th minute, Ricardo Horta took centre stage, firing from close range to make it 1-0. Sporting CP felt the setback and soon lost Pedro Gonçalves to injury, prompting changes by Rúben Amorim in his last match as head coach. SC Braga capitalised, with Ricardo Horta doubling the lead just before half-time, breaking through to score past Franco Israel.
Sporting made further adjustments for the second half, with immediate results. In the 58th minute, Morita, having just come on, headed in after a cross from the right, narrowing the deficit and sparking Sporting’s strong comeback. The pressure led to the equaliser in the 81st minute, courtesy of a beautiful strike from Hjulmand outside the box. The turnaround was completed with a brace from young Danish substitute Harder.
Sporting CP extends their unbeaten streak to 33 games in Liga Portugal Betclic, reinforcing their lead with 33 points, while SC Braga holds fifth place with 20 points.
