SL Benfica record seventh consecutive win with a full house in Arouca

SL Benfica travelled this Sunday to a sold-out FC Arouca stadium and secured a 2-0 victory in the 12th matchday of Liga Portugal Betclic.

The visitors took the lead in the 12th minute through an unfortunate own goal by José Fontán. The win was sealed by Di María in the 71st minute, converting a penalty.

With this victory, SL Benfica climbs to second place temporarily with 28 points, marking their seventh consecutive win in the competition. FC Arouca remains in 17th place with eight points.
