Casa Pia AC clinch their second consecutive triumph

Two goals in two minutes paved the way for the Geese's triumph

Casa Pia AC kicked off Matchday 15 of Liga Portugal Betclic with a victory, defeating FC Arouca 3-1 and securing their second consecutive win in the competition.

The first goal came from Livolant's left foot. The French forward found himself one-on-one with the opposing goalkeeper after a brilliant through ball from Nuno Moreira that split the defense. Livolant chipped the ball over Mantl, making it 1-0.

Just a minute later, Nuno Moreira shone again, stealing the ball from Tiago Esgaio and delivering a pinpoint cross for Lelo, who scored his first goal of the season, doubling the lead to 2-0.

In the second half, Arouca narrowed the deficit through Trezza. Jason combined with the Italian forward, who fired a left-footed, low-driven shot across the goal to make it 2-1.

With just two minutes left before full time, a corner taken by Lelo found the heart of the penalty area, where Obeng rose highest to head the ball into the net, sealing the 3-1 victory.

The "Gansos" now have 20 points, moving level with Moreirense FC in seventh place, while Arouca remains in the relegation zone with 11 points.
