SC Farense claimed a 2-1 victory over Famalicão this Saturday in Matchday 15 of Liga Portugal Betclic.

The Algarve side entered the game at the bottom of the table but delivered a surprise in the 30th minute when Marco Matias headed in a cross from the right. Shortly after the second half began, Menino doubled the lead with a stunning curling strike from the left, putting the Leões de Faro ahead 2-0.

FC Famalicão, now winless in four matches, sought a comeback but managed only to reduce the deficit. Aranda converted a penalty in the 80th minute after Sorriso was brought down in the box by Neto.

This timely victory marks SC Farense's first away win, lifting them to 14th place (provisionally) with 12 points. Meanwhile, FC Famalicão remains in 9th place with 19 points.
