Bruno Lage wins Manager of the Month in Liga Portugal Betclic

The SL Benfica coach got 38,46% of the votes

Bruno Lage, manager of SL Benfica, has been named the Liga Portugal Betclic Manager of the Month for November, in a vote conducted by the league’s head coaches.

Taking charge of the team in early September, the 48-year-old led Benfica to a flawless month, securing victories away at SC Farense (2-1) and in the high-stakes Clássico against FC Porto (4-1).

In the voting, Bruno Lage edged out Vasco Matos of Santa Clara, who received 24.79% of the votes, and Ruben Amorim, who had 10.26% before departing his role at Sporting CP.
