Vitinha, the 25-year-old Portuguese international in his third season with Paris Saint-Germain, has been named “Talent That Marks the World” for February, in a vote conducted by the Liga Portugal Ambassadors.

“I want to thank Liga Portugal for selecting me for this award. It’s a great honor to be chosen again, and it will always be a huge pleasure to represent Portugal abroad. Thank you all very much,” said the Portuguese midfielder, who previously won this award in April last year.

Vitinha featured in all four of PSG’s Ligue 1 matches in February, scoring once. He also played a key role in securing the team’s spot in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16, netting two goals in the knockout tie against Stade Brest.

The ‘Talent That Marks the World’ award highlights the vast contingent of players and coaches whose talent has flourished in professional football, with the winner chosen by the Liga Portugal Ambassadors.
